Ingersoll Rand completes SSI acquisition, maintains inorganic growth momentum

The Ingersoll Rand Group has completed the acquisition of SSl Aeration,Inc. And its subsidiaries (collectively, "SSI") to expand its capabilities in the field of wastewater treatment.


The acquisition expands Ingersoll Rand's capabilities in the critical, high-growth, sustainable end market of wastewater treatment.


- Enables Ingersoll Rand to offer more comprehensive wastewater treatment solutions, providing customers with greater energy efficiency and greater productivity. - Create opportunities to accelerate revenue growth by entering the municipal water treatment market.




SSI is a world-renowned producer of wastewater treatment plant equipment design and manufacture with approximately $30 million in annual revenue. Its product portfolio includes innovative and energy efficient engineered bespoke diaphragm aerators, including microporous aerators, coarse porous aerators and aeration systems.


The acquisition will enable Ingersoll Rand to combine a number of technologies, such as blowers and low pressure compressors, with SSI's aeration products to provide a comprehensive total solution.


SSI, which has manufacturing facilities in the United States, South Korea and India, will join the Industrial Technology & Services Group (IT&S).
